Eyeliners, Liquid Liners, or Gel Liners?

What do you ladies prefer? At first I used to use the pencil liner everyday, you have to realize I had no clue about the make-up world until YouTube presented itself to me. Anyways back then, I had 3 beauty products, foundation, mascara and my eye liner. Just on my water line and good to go. Well after I discovered more stuff, I realized that gel liners were my thing. I would purchase the Maybelline gel liners, I loved it a lot for the longest time until when it was time to repurchase a new one they must have changed the formulation because it would get hard like crazy. The good thing about them is that not only can you use in on your water line, but you can also create an upper winged liner, smudge for a smokey look, bonus! But for the past year or so, I have been loving my liquid liner, I recommend the L'OREAL Infallible Super Slim, It is perfect for doing such winged liner, it has a nice felt tip. Although this does smear off, I still love it, that part isn't a deal breaker. What do you ladies prefer? I am going back to the gel liner to see if I will love it again! (I swatched the Too Faced liner but it was creamy the other is just a regular pencil liner, just thought I would compare the two)

Lorac Mega Pro Palette !

It came out maybe a month ago, and I must say it looks so gorgeous, it was a limited edition for the Holiday season, and it sold out within 2 days! Ebay has sellers that are selling it for close to $100! How insane!! Amazon has been restocking it a couple times, today I seen it stock up and within minutes it was out again! Amazon had it for $56 a lot more cheaper then Ebay! Go Amazon! Is it worth it? Is this palette really worth the hype? Is the pigmentation really good? Is the price reasonable? I think you get quite a bit for the price, and I have heard nothing but good things about Lorac! For goodness sakes the Naked palettes by UD are around $50 and this is maybe $55. I shall have to purchase this! And of course a review will be in order! Thank goodness I was able to get this goodie, well it's on the way here, and you bet I will be stalking the UPS man! :D

E.L.F Holiday Collection :O

I found this at my local drugstore (Wal-Greens) and I am so happy to have gotten this! I remember when I started to do my brows ^^ I first started using this, but I see that they revamped their packaging which is quite nice and looks cheap at the same time, but it's all good. :) In this set it included an E.L.F brush which to me is not necessary, it was a nice thought though. If it was an angled brush then now we would be talking. They also included eyebrow stencils for the new beginners or myself haha which is so great and so convenient. All this for $3 is a very good price. I mean the eyebrow kit is $3 alone! I love how they never change their price no matter how popular their products are! I do recommend it. The eyebrow kit is so easy to use, very convenient, they eyebrow gel so smooth and a small price to pay for good brows (but for real, small price)!

Physicians Formula Brunette Bronzer!

I am a fanatic over cute packaging! It's pink for goodness sakes!This is the Multi-Colored Custom Bronzer Brunettes. I definitely would not  consider this a bronzer in any way. It does not have any bronzing effect, it has more of a hi-light effect. They should consider renaming this product. It is pretty and sheer perfect for the cheekbones or the high points of your face. It is really shimmery and nobody really likes a shimmery bronzer. I give them props for packaging, price, quantity and quality if it were a hi-light, If you were looking for a bronzer, this would not be it for you, if your looking for a subtle hi-light or maybe tear duct hi-light, then this is for you!

Happy Friday, New Lip Product From Revlon!

Well since today it's Friday (end of the week, yay) I went to my local drugstore (Wal-Greens) and my store usually has their new make-up product out, and I love them for that :) I stumbled across the newest line they had out at the moment and found this:

Look at the lipstick packaging though! :) It is a nice change to see a different packaging every great while! They have Ultra HD lipstick and lipgloss and let me tell you, they have a big color selection, but only of color that are alike, nothing like a violet shade. I picked up one shade of each, the lipstick does have a high shine to it, it also has a creamy texture once applied to the lips, as for staying power, it has a very decent one, of course it fades within time (when you eat, drink, etc)

As for the lipgloss goes, it seems to appear as they have revamped their old Colorburst lipgloss collection, they have the same formula and smell, they even have some of the same colors like I seen Pink Ice which I own from the Colorburst collection, but as far as the applicator goes, this one is more of a brush applicator whereas the other collection is more of the wand tip. I really did like the color that I picked up a nice nude color, as far as staying power, it does budge a bit (like most lip glosses do)

My final thoughts? As far as the lipstick goes, I am more of a matte kind of lady, this isn't for me, a high shine. If I want something high shine, than I am going to use a lip gloss. I do like the variety of colors, but do I think you are missing out if you don't buy one? No.

The lip glosses are nice, but I am not a big fan of the brush applicator. The little hairs get all crazy, and I'm not a fan. The colors are gorgeous, it has a light scent to them, which doesn't bother me because most lip glosses have a scent to them. Do I think you need to run over to your local drugstore and go crazy? No. If you have owned the Colorburst collection you will get about the same quality, just different brush tip and colors.

Melted Nude by Too Faced!

  Can we talk about how cute the packaging? Everywhere on the social media apps everyone always mentions that this is their favorite gloss. The felt tip applicator was really nice and applying it was smooth, I appreciate the fact that a little comes out instead of a lot. That is a big plus! The color is beautiful, it isn't a ghostly nude, it's more of a warm nude, wearable kind of nude. It isn't scented which is a huge plus for me, I am not a big fan of scented make-up, the smell lingers, but with this product, that will not be a problem! They don't have that sticky feeling to them and the color selection is eye catching they have the usual favorites from purples to coral and nudes.They are nice and creamy, good color pay-off as you can tell from the pictures above! I have fair/medium skin and this color looks gorgeous on my lips! I will plan to get Melted Fig, Melted Marshmallow and Melted Peony! I do recommend this, even for the price! Oh and thank-you for the handwritten note! Highly appreciated! :)

When My Brows Look Good (For Once)

I have been using the Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade for a couple of months and it is my Holy Grail, but since I have been cursed with oily skin, I have switched to the powder! Im pleased with it, although you don'g get a lot of product whereas the pomade you do, it is really nice and it doesn't fade as much. Oh, and this is me! :) The mysterious face behind this blog!

Pomade or Powder?

Why these two are tow of the infamous product for the brows, which one do you guys pick? These are completely different and have a different set to them as one as a pomade and the other a powder (obviously) Which one do I prefere, well I have been dealing with oily skin in the T zone are (forehead and nose) the pomade has been smearing off, which is a big turn off. When I first bought it, how I was obsessed with it, I loved it like no other and I still do, it's just now doing good with my  oily skin. The powder is one I wasnt into it at first, and then I had to switch to the powder hoping it does better lasting on my brows, I am impressed that they have a good variety of colors, It has 10 colors whereas the pomade has only 7. My recommendation, if you have oily

skin, I wouldn't recommend the pomade, it will sttart to smear off and look unattractive, go for the powder, if you maybe normal to dry the pomade will be great, I think the powder will do great for whatever skin type you have! The pomade has a lot more than the powder does and a little does go a long way, which is the best part of the pomade, and if you had normal to dry skin, this will not budge! Although both of them are not the same "Dark Brow" which is a bummer because I have to get "Ebony" in the Duo Powder.

Sephora Haul 1st Real Purchase from the Store!

This store is like candy lane for a makeup lover! IT's so nice with their chic dim lights make it look so nice, and all the makeup displays! Got these goodies yesterday can't wait to try them out and of course I will be doing a full review on each of them! I got Becca Matte Skin Shine Proof Foundation in Olive, I am so oily at the moment, due to new birth control I have. They recommended this or the MUFE Mat Velvet but I passed out on it because i wanted to try something different!  Perversion Mascara has been a mascara I have been eyeing since I got a sample in the Ipsy Glam Bags, and I loved it! I also got the Anastasia Beverly hills Bro Duo powder in Dark Brown, although it was too light for my liking of course.

Wal-Mart Beauty Box?

Has anyone heard of this? Apparently its a "Beauty Box" contains things that are well suited for your life-stage. It is apparently free and you all you pay is $5 for the shipping. You get 4 each year (one per season) I think you really can't lose much by getting one. I would love to hear your thoughts on this, of course I got one, I have yet to receive though.

Make-up Geek Review?

I can't believe how pigmented the blushes are! With one little swipe with the brush and it already is pigmented! I received Rendezvous and Secret Admirer and let me tell you, Rendezvous is a keeper. I just barely had to dip the brush onto the powder, I usually due two dips in so I did with blush and I had over applied! Unbelievable! I have yet to try Secret Admirer it had a purple undertone but so beautiful! Thank-you Marlena!

Peachy Nudes (My Fave)

These are my favorite peachy nudes. I use these year round no joke. They go well with my fair/medium skin tone!

Transition Eyeshadows

They look quite different but once swatched they seem to be very comparable (excuse the yeti arms) Two are affordable and one high-end. Well actually MUG is affordable but not drugstore. They are perfect for transitioning the eyeshadows. I love them! Hard Candy has more of a orangish-red undertone but still very beautiful. I am quite certain there are far more transition shades to use that I have yet to discover but here is what I  have and works for me! 

New Stuff at the Drugstore.

I just get so excited when I find new things at the drugstore! The closet department store that carries Sephora or MAC is about an 1hour and 40 minutes, so when I see the same old same old at the store I'm like eh. So, when more than one drugstore brand comes out with new stuff, let's just say, I get all crazy and I want everything, and now! (I don't buy all at once, we need groceries in those house, duh!) SO when i get a couple of stuff I want to wear everything at once, so when my baby's asleep and the kids are at school, I take the time and try things out :) So here is what's new at the store: 

Maybelline came out with  creamy matte lipsticks, a new palette, brow gel and a revised mascara "Great Lash" Big Impact

Hard Candy came out with new things as well: eyeshadows, lipsticks, brow gel eyeshadow palettes, I wasn't really wowed with the glossy lipsticks, they also had single eyeshadows that were supposedly comparable to L'OREAL Infallible eyeshadows, which were not in any way. They also came out with new "Top 10" eyeshadows- those palettes were mostly blah due to the fact they were all shimmer but they outdid themselves-they came out with an all matte eyeshadow palette called "Birthday Suit" but they were out last Saturday but today they were stocked and of ouse I bought one!
